Jaurim’s 2nd album ‘Lover’ picture disc LP re-release!!
Jaurim’s second album, ‘Lover’, can be said to be an album that clearly shows Jaurim’s increasingly mature musical appearance. If the music of the first album was a Korean interpretation of modern rock, the second album can be seen as taking a step closer to the rock sound of the UK and the US.

Unlike the first album, where the vocalist and guitarist were mainly in charge of composing, all members participated in composing this album. The song that catches the eye is ‘I’m Sorry, I Hate You’, a popular rock ballad that is true to the sensibility of modern rock.
This song, by Lee Sun-kyu (guitar) and Kim Yoon-ah (vocals), has a simple yet catchy melody that is appealing. Vocalist Kim Yoon-ah, who also showed many colorful songs in her last album, shows her own unique sensibility with the songs in the “Lovers” trilogy, “Queen,” “Lover,” and “Angel,” which are used as the title of her second album.
Bassist Kim Jin-man shows off his composing skills through ‘Find the Hidden Picture’ and drummer Koo Tae-hoon shows off his composing skills through ‘Box to the Sky’.

The characteristic of the music of the second album is that the members’ interest in techno, which could be seen occasionally in songs such as ‘Wax Angel’ from the first album, is brought to the forefront. From U2 to Madonna who showed a new transformation, techno music, which has spread like a fever all over the world, is naturally being incorporated into their music. In particular, songs such as ‘Lover 2/3 (Lover)’ and ‘I Know’ have a strong techno color.

Another notable point is that while the music is more focused on one color than the previous work, the lyrics focus on social issues. “Fallen Flowers” is based on the theme of youth suicide, “If You Sleep Here, You’ll Freeze to Death” is a warm encouragement for the homeless, who have recently become a problem, and “Box to the Sky” is a thought on the TV media that indifferently portrays terrible situations. Jaurim shows itself as a serious musician who places importance on “what to say” as well as “how to sing.”

Lover 3/3
The last song in the Lover trilogy, recorded in two different styles, was included at the beginning and end of the album. The alternative rock style song included as the first song conveys the intense energy that can only be felt in band music.

I’m sorry I hate you
This is the most representative song on the album, and it is a song with a simple chord progression and drum and bass performance that is pleasing to the ear. It is a rock ballad with an attractive serious melody line.

Poor playback

3) If dust accumulates on the needle, playback may not be smooth.

Disk abnormality
1) The disc surface may become warped or warped. Returns or exchanges are only possible if there is a problem with playback.
