Minimani’s debut song ‘Stop’ is an ambitious work by Jaylin, a composer who is recognized for his unique musicality. In particular, the lyrics of ‘Stop’ are a song with a dramatic narrative, and contain the content to stop now, such as school violence, workplace violence, and domestic violence, which are emerging as social issues.
The lyrics contain meaningful content, but I added the 70’s Euro disco music style with an easily accessible beat in the hope that it will spread widely to all the public from the 10s to the 50s.
In the process of producing the song, various samples were used to reproduce the retro sound, and in particular, a brass line was added to make it unique. The word ‘Muyaho’, which appears in the middle, was used to express the desire to escape from them (those who perpetrate violence) and the desire to be happy as if they would fly away if they escaped. In the chorus part, ‘Muyaho’, which is shouted as if embracing resentment, is the killing point of this song.
