Based on the background of the band mate’s birth, in January 2009, before the album was released, I happened to have the opportunity to perform in the lobby of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, and during the performance, I was invited to The Swell Season’s Glen Hansard. It also contains the story of the luck of being picked up by and debuting as a guest on the stage of this performance. Mate’s members Jung Joon-il (vocal, keyboards), Lim Heon-il (vocal, guitar), and Lee Hyun-jae (drums) appeared as the lead actors, and Mate directly participated in writing lyrics, composing, arranging, and playing the music used, pouring out his passion. . Jun-il accidentally hears Hun-il’s music at a cafe, plays his song to him, and proposes to form a band together. Here, drummer Hyun-jae joins, and those who formed a modern rock band capture the hesitant love and the anxious but earnest desire toward a hopeless dream in the music with emotional melodies. Instead of waiting for the agency to decide, the three members decide to busking at the performance of the world-renowned indie band ‘The Swell Season’, and this busking will change their destiny. They are young people who are always hesitant in front of love and work, but the moment they do music, which is their long-time dream and hope, shows touching moments of three people who shine more dazzlingly than anyone else, talking about youthful dreams, passion, and love that must continue. .
