Mystic Story’s first girl group, Billy, is finally taking its first steps in the music industry.

Billy’s debut album ‘the Billage of Perception: chapter one’, composed of Shiyoon, Tsuki, Suhyeon, Haram, Moon Sua, and Haruna, has a unique world view based on a solid story, as well as top domestic and foreign producers and choreography label One Million Dance Studio. It is an album that has improved its perfection in various aspects such as music, singing, rap, and performance through collaboration with.

Like the name of the team, Billy, which means ‘we will express our B-side, the inner self that everyone has and can relate to’, all the members are working hard on the album for good music that can warmly touch the hearts of many people. It is a song that will be the beginning of the worldview that will unfold in the future, which moment of growth each person will meet in this process.

The sound that reminds me of emocore rock with an electric guitar and synth combination and the siren heard from the introduction of the song will be Billy’s signal flare and the sound that wakes up other Billies in the world.

It is Billy’s own alternative R&B track that combines analog synth-bass with 70’s movie music style. The secret and mysterious atmosphere sampled from Tchaikovsky’s ‘Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy’ is expressed throughout the song, and the acapella in the outro further maximizes the perfection of the song.

This song, which tells the story of a secret that everyone has, asks once again whether what we are accustomed to know may not be true, and whether the key lies in our attitude toward dealing with even secrets that seem infinitely deep and dark.

This track, an 80’s retro-style dance pop expressed in Billy’s own style, catches the bass riff that runs throughout the song like a rumor spreading faster than ever, and Billy’s vocals, as if they are actually constantly exchanging conversations, put the listener at the center of the rumor. It gives the feeling of standing and eavesdropping on a conversation.
