YERIN’s third solo album ‘Rewrite’ has been released.

Yerin, who has always shown a new side of herself through various changes and challenges, transforms into a magician with powers in this album. Yerin’s power to make everything that has been broken new and clean makes the pain and darkness we have experienced disappear, and this album contains the meaning of gaining strength again and giving us the courage to live anew. The story of love and pain experienced in life in Rewrite, and the growth that overcame all of this, is contained in 6 songs in stages like a drama.

Feel our diverse world, where various colors are dyed like waves when we are together, ‘VV Wavy!’

The title song of the third mini album, ‘Wavy’, is a song created for Yerin by GALACTIKA*, a composing team that has produced hit songs for many artists including ITZY, WJSN, and Billie. It is a refreshing house-style song that expresses Yerin’s signature bright and bubbly energy. The groovy bass, rhythmic brass section, and gorgeous string lines become one like waves, adding a layer of excitement to the story that expresses a world dyed like waves.

Additionally, ‘(SHINE)’, a Pop Rock genre song with a vintage Rock sound guitar and rough drum sound, contains a story about always shining light and becoming strength in a world dyed in various colors, and ‘Permeate’, which contains a story of confusion and wandering when light disappears and dark blood spreads throughout the body, losing abilities, is a retro pop genre song that reconstructs the Burlesque style with a funky triplet rhythm structure often used in musicals and movies into a K-pop style.

Also, unlike before when I could do everything with my own strength, in a situation where I can’t do anything, what’s truly important is not my ability but you and us, so I want to go see you again, and ‘Save Me’ is a tragic yet desperate love story. It is an R&B song with impressive string sounds that simultaneously play pizzicato and staccato, and ‘One Thing’ is an old-school hip-hop genre song that boasts chemistry between seniors and juniors, featuring Kep1er member Kim Da-yeon. It contains a story about how the wounds and pains I’ve experienced so far were my growing pains, and how I endured the painful times and became stronger with my memories with you. The last track, ‘4U’, is a 2000s house genre song that creates a sophisticated sound with the harmony of funky and cheerful instruments and romantic top lines, and it shows the brilliant light that unfolds again with my ability, and it contains the message of enjoying this summer together, decorating the finale of the fairytale-like 6-part story.
