Korea’s first post-rock compilation album THE POST-ROCK (hippie rabbit compilation)

Post-rock can be considered by some to be music from the past, like a fad of the moment, but in the Korean music scene, it is a living, breathing genre where new bands are constantly being born.

If there was an album that summarized the trends of Korea’s post-rock by era, we produced a hippie rabbit post-rock compilation album with the hope that the legendary names of the Korean post-rock scene would have been passed on to more people. ‘s post-rock wants to leave a record of the path it is taking.

Hippie Rabbit has continuously discovered and introduced bands with musicality, and is a music space where art communicates with musicians of various genres as well as mainstream music. As a place that has planned performances for countless post-rock bands, I participated in the production with the hope that this compilation album will help create an environment where post-rock in Korea can continue without stopping. Participating bands also participated in one-take live recording at Hippy Rabbit with the meaning of the space. I hope that energy will be passed on to you.

Starting with this album, I hope that Korean post-rock will be able to get more attention from more people beyond the scene. I hope Korea’s post-rock scene can become more active…
