Artists (G)I-DLE, who build their own genre with unrivaled concept digestibility and infinite possibilities, release their third mini-album [I trust] in 9 months.

[I trust] is the third release following the debut album [I am] that declared the definition of ‘me’ and ‘we’ and the 2nd mini album [I made] that showed growth through self-producing. (G)I-DLE’s 3rd mini album [I trust] captures the existence of faith starting from ‘I’. This album contains the meaning of ‘I trust = I believe in myself’, expressing the confidence of (G)I-DLE.

The title song ‘Oh my god’ is a song that makes me realize that I have to believe in myself through encountering reality while going through feelings of rejection, confusion, acceptance, and confidence. ‘I trust myself. It expresses the theme of ‘I can be confident just by believing in myself’. It is an Urban Hiphop genre song that stands out with bold rhythm changes that change with each development of the song. The vintage piano sound, dreamy atmosphere led by the 808 bass, and intense sound are impressive.

The dynamic development of sound is evident in the visual concept of the album. The teaser image, which seemed to contain the image of a devil and an angel, evoked enthusiastic reactions from fans. In particular, this [I trust] physical album is black-themed ‘True Ver.’ and white-themed ‘Lie Ver.’ It was made in two types to add speciality.
