Billlie the second mini album [the collective soul and unconscious: chapter one]

As the first girl group of Mystic Story, with differentiated stories and proven skills, Billlie announced a successful debut last year with the mini-album [the Billage of Perception: chapter one], a series of daily life seen from Billy’s own perspective in reality. In the following single album [the collective soul and unconscious: snowy night], as a prequel to a series of dreams and phenomena felt in the unconscious world, Billy’s multi-world view was established and the beginning of the story was announced.

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”

The second mini-album [the collective soul and unconscious: chapter one] also contains the solid worldview story that Billy has shown so far. The various concerns and stories we experience in reality are expressed narratively through the medium of dreams. A unique story was created in which mystery and fantasy coexist at the same time.

This album, which has been further refined so that not only KPOP but also listeners who like music of various genres can enjoy listening to it, shows Billy’s unique musical confidence. The title song ‘GingaMingaYo (the strange world)’ of the intense electric pop genre by producer Hyuk Shin, which contains the questions and emotions he asks himself during the process of becoming an adult, and minGtion, Mayu Wakisaka, Lee Woo-min “collapsedone”, Justin Reinstein The tracks completed with the participation of top KPOP producers at home and abroad maintain a strong extension of the previous work and strengthen Billy’s unique genre color that was not felt in existing K-pop. In addition, the performance art, which choreographer Lia Kim of 1Million Dance Studio participated in directing, was added to complete Billy’s unique musical expression.

Through this album, Billy is announcing the beginning of a journey to complete the two bifurcated narratives of [the Billage of Perception] and [the collective soul and unconscious] in parallel, Surrounding reality, and episodes in dreams and unconsciousness are expressed in Billy’s unique mise-en-scne.

Billy expresses adults and children, sings thoughts about authority, expresses time and space, and asks philosophical questions about the reality we live in.
