24K (24K), comeback with ‘Sexy Lover’

24K, a 7-member idol group that has emerged as a ‘trendy idol’ in Europe and South America with their intense electronic dance music (EDM), is starting a comeback.
24K’s comeback in Korea is 6 months since they ended their activities with the title song ‘Bingo’ of their regular album. The concept of this album is ‘sexy lover’. 24K, which has been eye-catching for its intense EDM and powerful choreography, is back with a soft yet sexy image this time around. The title of this mini-album is ‘ADDICTION’, which means an addicted state where you can’t get out of being buried by someone. The title song is a house EDM song based on a trendy future bass sound, ‘All I Need is You’. Composed by 24K’s leader Corey and written by member Jungwook, this song expresses the genuine feelings of a man who is fatally in love with the overwhelming and implicit words ‘All you need is just you’.
If the title number ‘All I Need is You’ gives a strong feeling, the b-side song ‘Secret’ is a ballad with a faint pad sound that misses a lover who broke up, and anyone who has gone through the pain of a breakup can relate to it. The sophisticated sound and mournful lyrics captivate the ears, making it a recommended song for those who like easy listening music. The song was written and composed by YANG D, who participated in the OST-DO IT of the web drama ‘Tomorrow Boy’, in which VIXX’s N starred.
In this album as well, the members of 24K showed off their image as artists by digesting everything from composing the title song ‘All I Need is You’ to choreography and mix mastering work. The music video, directed by director Hong Won-ki of Zani Bros, a production company specializing in music videos, harmonizes sexy choreography with colorful colors, bringing the art and sexy concept to life, which is enough to attract attention. Also, the title of this album, ‘ADDICTION’ and the logo of the title song, ‘All I Need is You’ are design fonts donated free of charge by Daniel Zagocsky, a Polish designer with whom they met during overseas performances.
From December of last year to April of this year, 24K secured a large overseas fandom through tour performances in 13 countries, including England, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Finland, Romania, Russia, Sweden, Spain, Netherlands, and Brazil. Attention is focusing on whether the song will reawaken the EDM wind, which has become a global trend in the Korean music industry.
