10cm 4th full album [4.0]

‘I’ is alone in a small room.
In that room, fragments of various emotions glitter and float, drift slowly, and sometimes collide and crumble. Because I am alone, in inevitable solitude, I wait for ‘you’ and talk to ‘you’. For ‘I’, only ‘you’ are allowed to step into this small space, so it is a small world for only the two of you and me.

[4.0] is the fourth full-length album of ’10cm’. It is the fifth studio recording work since joining the current management company ‘Magic Story Berry Sound’, and it has been exactly 3 years since [3.0] in 2014 as a regular album.
The album, which contains 8 new songs, is especially meaningful in that it is the first work released by 10cm after the recent major change from a duo to a one-person ‘Kwon Jeong-yeol’.

It’s fortunate and nice to see that the unique color of ’10cm’ is still the same despite the change that could have shaken the existence itself. Songs such as ‘Do you like spring?’ 10cm’s unique sensibility is still alive in songs such as ‘Ponsert’, which sings that it is “the world’s most expensive solo performance” dedicated to ‘you’, and ‘Pet’, which mischievously confesses to ‘Tame me like your puppy’. and Sense can be found. On the other hand, sweet and pleasant love songs (‘Island’, ‘Hotel Room’) inheriting the sensibility of ‘Love is in the Milky Way Cafe’ and ‘Sseudamsseudam’, as well as ‘Stalker’ and ‘Nothing without You’, are sorrowful. It is a well-balanced work of tracks with various atmospheres that do not lose the unique color of 10cm, including desperate ballad numbers that seek love (Everything) and ask for help (Help).

In [4.0], ‘I’, the narrator, is alone in a small room and waits for ‘you’ in that room. ‘I’ longs for the love of ‘you’ and also hopes for salvation from ‘you’. For ‘I’, only ‘you’ are allowed to step into this small space, so this [4.0] is a small world of only ‘you and me’.
