Following the IDENTITY series, which contains growth and identity, WEi is back with a Love series that sings about the emotions of youth!
The first album [Love Pt.1 : First Love], which marks the beginning of the Love series, is a 6-track album that tells the story of youth experiencing their first love.

[Love Pt.1 : First Love]
The first theme of WEi’s ‘Love Series’ is ‘the clumsiness of first love’. It tells the story of six young people who hurt someone because they were poor at expressing love, or who seemed stupid. It depicts the moment when the unrefined, angular heart of youth who did not know love is tamed by someone and realizes true love and gradually forms beautifully.

It consists of tracks similar to watching a youth movie, in which people hurt each other due to the clumsiness of first love, but gradually become one through faith and love that resolves misunderstandings and becomes stronger.

The title song “Too Bad” contains the shy feelings of wanting to confidently confess to the opposite sex but not being able to. You can see the awkwardness of trying to explain that it’s not a bad day to confess with excuses such as ‘just because the sky is pretty’ or ‘because the flowers just look like you’. With an attractive bass line and an exciting guitar riff, an addictive hook melody is added to better portray WEi’s excitement. When you fall in love, everything looks beautiful and it is a song that well expresses the trembling feelings in front of the person you love.

In particular, in this album, member Jang Dae-hyun participated in the rap-making of the title song “Too Bad”, raising expectations, and participated in the composition and lyrics of the b-side song “BLOSSOM (Bloom)”, revealing his side as a producer without hesitation.
