The first album of Project Bitsnap created by drummer Kim Young-jin, who plays in various teams such as Yoon Seok-chul trio, Jeon Jun-jun group, and Kuma Park, and bassist and producer Joo-won Lee, who is actively involved in composing, arranging, and playing such as Beenzino, Primary, and Workmanship. [En Route] is released.

The two, who are active in various scenes including jazz and hip-hop, borrowed the repetitive loop idea of ‘sampling’ to express the sound of the rhythm section, which is their musical root, in a simple yet impactful way in this album [En Route]. Each track used a variety of sounds in a variety of ways. In particular, this album is characterized by direct production of all stages of album production, from the recording stage to mixing and mastering, and the overall idea of music was gathered and made together.

Fellow musicians also contributed to the album with their own voices. ‘Riding Alone’, in which guitarist Wonjun participated, has a refreshing sound, ‘Can We Be Alone’, with lyrics and melodies by singer-songwriter Kang Yi-chae, contains stories about certain contradictory emotions, and saxophonist Song Ha-cheol collaborated with ‘Can We Be Alone’. In ‘Simple Plan’, you can hear his wonderful solo line. In addition, various original songs such as ‘It’s Ambiguous’, which was recorded rough for sound check during the recording process, and ‘Bitter Sweet’, which became the starting point of this project, were included in the album in the color of Beatsnap.
