Description (Translated):

MINIMANI M, a unit group of CMG Green Star’s girl group MINIMANI, is a retro vocal duet composed of Minimani’s main vocalists Han Song-i and Choi Rin. M means Mighty. Unlike Minimani’s existing retro disco, hybrid-type trot, and performance-oriented dance trot music genres, they plan to present medium-tempo pop trot music to fully showcase the charms of the two vocal members. A team loved by many people of all ages and genders, regardless of generation, with a fresh and lively image and familiar genres of music, including trot, from the present to the past. As a unit of Mini Mani, Han Song-i and Choi Lin’s Mini Mani M will release its first sound on January 12, 2024. It will be released for the first time with ‘Heartbreak’ and the b-side song ‘Run, Run, Run’. I hope that in the future, fans will remember us as a team like Davichi and Cia in the trot world.

The title song of Minimani M’s first album, ‘Heartbreak’, is a collaboration between composers Invincible W, Sanghee Sang, and Lee Han, who produced numerous drama OST songs, and is a sensuous song about the pain and longing of separation felt after love has passed. The perfection of the song was enhanced by the lyrics, sorrowful melody, sophisticated sound, and powerful voices of Minimani M’s Han Song-i and Choi Rin. The included song ‘To Moon’ is a semi-trot song that expresses the longing for a loved one towards the moon.

In the second half of 2021, Mini Mani, who appeared on MBN broadcasting station’s global trot audition program Hello Trot, passed both the first and second rounds in first place, and by the third round, Mini Mani was recognized as a leader in the trot world with her unique lively charm and vocal skills. They are called an idol group and have already left a strong impression on many people.

Expectations are high as to whether Minimani M, a trot idol that is approachable to young people, will become a leader in pioneering a truly global K-TROT with their singing skills and performances.
